Pastor John Willhite &
Minister Leslie Willhite
John 13:34 mark the cornerstone of John and Leslie Willhite's life and ministry.
Pastor John Willhite was born in Chicago, Illinois and raised in South Haven, Michigan. As a very young man he sensed the call of God on his life and moved toward the call to ministry as a teenager. He was also an accomplished athlete which presented numerous opportunities for education and travel in his young adult years. Throughout the challenges, growth, and accomplishment of his mature years, the fire of God's call continued to burn.
He officially accepted his call into ministry in May of 2006 and received his license at Trinity Baptist Church. In 2007 John started a Home Bible study teaching the foundational principles of John 13:34. He also served thru a prison ministry that focused on teaching men how to gain their lives back and become productive citizens in today’s society. From July 2010 to January 2013 he ministered as the Youth Pastor at House of the Lord Christian Fellowship of Moreno Valley. Providentially, in the same year, God spoke to Pastor John and said “I want to use you & Leslie and those whom I have chosen to start the fellowship we now know as True Love Christian Church”.
Leslie Gilbert Willhite was born in Chattanooga, Tennessee but lived in Hacienda Heights and West Covina, California the majority of her life. Over the last 28 years Leslie has served in ministry as a Praise and Worship Leader, Intercessory Prayer Leader and in Service Leadership. Leslie is currently being used by God in the fellowship as a Minister and Worship Leader.
John and Leslie Willhite have 3 children, Darnell, Robert and Cydni. They are the owners of Willhite Insurance Agency in Riverside California. John and Leslie love God with all their heart and realize that their only purpose in this life is to endeavor to serve God with passion and to be used by Him for the equipping of the saints for the work of ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ, till we all come to the unity of the faith and of the knowledge of the Son of God.
